About the Show
This musical is a joyful, high-energy celebration of the beloved world of Dr. Seuss, full of imagination, kindness, and heart. Bursting with colorful characters, playful humor, and unforgettable songs, it is a delight for audiences of all ages.
The Cat in the Hat tells the story of Horton, an elephant who discovers a speck of dust that contains the Whos, including Jojo, a Who child sent off to military school for thinking too many "thinks." Horton faces a double challenge: not only must he protect the Whos from a world of naysayers and dangers, but he must guard an abandoned egg. Ultimately, the powers of friendship, loyalty, family, and community are challenged and emerge triumphant.

Cassie previously performed for her high school’s theatre company, performing in Noises Off, Mamma Mia!, The Little Mermaid, and Midsummer Night’s Dream. She remained involved in community choirs after high school, performing in UW’s Treble Choir and Cascade Foothills Choir.

A long-time actor, stage hand, and director, his most recent performance was as The Ghost of Christmas Present and Mr. Fezziwig in the United Methodist Church of Bothell production of A Christmas Carol.
